(VOVworld) - Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe's Cabinet has approved 3.5 trillion yen (USD 29 billion) in fresh stimulus in a bid to boost Japan’s economy following April’s tax hikes. The package focused on supporting local economies, small and medium-sized enterprises, and individual households. A special program to support the real estate sector will be resumed in which Japanese people will collect points by constructing and repairing their houses with environmentally friendly materials, in exchange for green products and gift vouchers. The Japanese government has also set up healthcare facilities in localities to improve children healthcare.
