Japan helps Vietnam produce vaccines

(VOVworld) – Japan has decided to transfer the production technology of the rubella - measles combined vaccines to Vietnam. The provision is part of Japan’s economic growth strategy through medical technology exports, which was adopted by Prime Minister Shinzo Abe in May. Vietnam is one of the main targets of the plan which will be implemented via official development assistance fund. Under the plan, Japan will cooperate with Vietnam to build a vaccine production system by 2018 for the purpose of inoculating children.
