Japan to relax entry restrictions for Viet Nam

(VOVWORLD) - Japan will ease entry restrictions for Viet Nam and Thailand this month, said Foreign Minister Motegi Toshimitsu on Wednesday.

All persons entering Japan from Vietnam and Thailand will be quarantined for 14 days at a designated facility, Toshimitsu said, adding that the Ministry will coordinate with Vietnam and Thailand to implement this program as soon as possible.

Japan has selected Vietnam as one of the first four nations to relax travel restrictions with because of Vietnam’s effective containment of COVID-19.
