Japanese media covers President Nguyen Phu Trong
(VOVWORLD) - Many newspapers in Japan have covered the election of General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam Nguyen Phu Trong to the post of President of Vietnam.

Japan’s Economy newspaper quoted President Trong’s swear-in office speech, saying that he will fulfil his tasks to serve the fatherland. The newspaper wrote that Vietnamese people support the Communist Party of Vietnam in their national development path.
NHK news agency ran a biography of party leader and President Trong, saying that his election at the National Assembly proved his high prestige as a Party and State leader.
