(VOVworld) - The Korea-Vietnam Show 2015 opened in Hanoi on Wednesday as part of activities to promote trade exchanges between Vietnam and the Republic of Korea, whose bilateral Free Trade Agreement (FTA) was signed in May and approved by the Republic of Korea on Monday. The show will connect 40 South Korean enterprises with 400 Vietnamese enterprises in areas like cosmetics, food and beverages, textiles, consumer goods, medical devices, electrical items, and machinery, which will see tariff reductions or exemptions under the bilateral free trade agreement. Vietnamese enterprises will have an opportunity to find trade partners for agriculture, seafood, and textile products.
