(VOVworld) – The Vietnam Women’s Union today/ on Saturday conferred the Kovaleskaya Award to two Vietnamese scientists for their great contributions to science. Speaking at the award ceremony, Chairman of the Party Central Supervision Committee, Ngo Van Du affirmed that Vietnamese women have always showed their creativeness and dynamism in all fields. "We’re very proud to honor those outstanding women for their great contribution in science and technology. This shows the advancement of female labor force and equal role of women in all fields. The Party and State have always acknowledged great contribution of Vietnamese women and created favorable conditions for them to further contribute to the national development."
