Landmarks lit in orange to support elimination of violence against women

(VOVWORLD) - Several famous buildings and landmarks in Vietnam were lit with orange lights Thursday to represent a bright, non-violent future for women and girls, as part of an international campaign in response to International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, observed annually on November 25.

The venues included the Green One UN House in Hanoi and four bridges in Da Nang city. They will be lit in orange throughout the ‘16 Days of Activism Against Violence Against Women and Girls’ international campaign.
