Landslide buries 22 army personnel in Quang Tri province
(VOVWORLD) - A mountain landslide buried at least 22 members of an army economic group in the central province of Quang Tri early Sunday.

The landslide hit the barracks of Defense Economic Division 337 in Huong Phung commune at around 1am.
Torrential downpours hampered rescue efforts and the mountain is likely to continue to slide, according to a senior army officer.
By Sunday afternoon, 12 bodies had been retrieved.
Earlier on Wednesday, 13 officers and soldiers were killed by a landslide while looking for missing workers at the Rao Trang 3 hydropower plant in Thua Thien-Hue province.
