(VOVworld) – The National Assembly Standing Committee met on Monday to discuss the draft Law on the Organization of the National Assembly.

Most of the participants agreed on the need to change the law to specify new regulations of the Constitution. They said the revisions would improve the operation of the National Assembly to make it more practical. Besides, the compiling board asked for a 35 percent increase in the number of full-time National Assembly deputies, in order to increase the assembly’s efficiency. In the afternoon, the Committee discussed the revised draft Custom Law and worked out the external relations of National Assembly agencies in 2014.
