Lawmakers debate amendments to Law on Government Organization
(VOVWORLD) - National Assembly deputies on Friday discussed revisions to the Law on Government Organization and the Law on Local Administration Organization.

National Assembly Secretary General Nguyen Hanh Phuc said the amendments focus on system compact, decentralization promotion, and review of functions of authority of certain governmental administrative bodies.
He said: “The National Assembly Standing Committee suggests that the draft bill take effect on June 1, 2021, so we can start deploying it from the next Government and People’s Council tenure in 2021.”
The deputies also listened to a report explaining revisions to the Law on State Audit.
