(VOVWORLD) -The Ministry of Information and Communications has released a new stamp collection to celebrate the upcoming Lunar New Year – the Year of the Dragon.
The two-piece set measuring 37x37 mm is designed by Nguyen Quang Vinh. Both stamp designs show a golden dragon on a bright blue and pink background, expressing the Tet (lunar new year) atmosphere.
The image of 9 dragons seen on the stamp block symbolizes the Mekong River with 9 winding streams flowing into 9 estuaries, bringing prosperity to the agricultural economy of Vietnam's southwest region.
The Tet stamp set will be circulating for 18 months from January 2024 to June 2025.
