During a visit to Mandalay on Friday, United Nations relief chief Tom Fletcher called on the global community to unite in support of the people of Myanmar.

Many countries, including Myanmar’s neighbors such as China, India, and Southeast Asian nations including Vietnam, have deployed rescue teams and delivered aid to support search and rescue operations, as well as recovery efforts in the worst-hit areas.

On April 4, the Indian Navy delivered hundreds of tons of food supplies to Myanmar. The Indian Prime Minister affirmed that India is doing everything possible to support the people of Myanmar.
