(VOVWORLD) - 1,500 people have participated in the 2017 blood donation campaign "Red journey" that began in Hai Phong City last Friday.

In Hai Phong city on Sunday, more than 12,000 units of blood were donated.
“Red journey” is a national humanitarian campaign by the National Steering Committee for Voluntary Blood Donation to mobilize the entire society to donate blood.
This year’s campaign, the fifth of its kind, will span 31 provinces and cities nationwide.
