More than 5.4 million COVID-19 cases reported worldwide
(VOVWORLD) - As of Sunday morning, the world confirmed more than 5.4 million people infected with SARS-CoV-2 with more than 340,000 deaths, according to Worldometer.
More than 2.2 million cases have recovered and more than 53,000 cases are in critical conditions so far.
Cases of the novel coronavirus in the United States have surpassed 1.6 million with more than 98,000 deaths. It was followed by Brazil, Russia, Spain, and the UK.
