The passengers included children under 18, elderly persons, people with illnesses, students without accommodations, and others in disadvantaged circumstances.

The Vietnamese Embassy in the US sent staff to the airport to assist the passengers with boarding procedures. Upon arrival at Da Nang International Airport, all passengers and crew members received medical exams and were quarantined in accordance with current health regulations.
