(VOVworld) – The resumption of the old Russian-American relations will entirely depend on how the completed US presidential election, Russia’s Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev said in a Saturday interview with Israel’s Channel 2.

PM Medvedev said Russia’s President Vladimir Putin has talked about this issue more than once. He highlighted Moscow’s readiness to build normal and fruitful relations with the next US Administration on the basis of the principles of international law and a model of equitable relations between Russia and the US whoever becomes President of the US. He said Russia will proceed from the construction of a multi polar world and from the responsibilities that the US and Russia have to the entire planet as permanent members of the UN Security Council and the biggest nuclear powers.
