(VOVWORLD) - Localities across Vietnam wil host a wide range of cultural, sports and tourism activities to celebrate the 78th anniversary of National Day, September 2.

Moc Chau Culture and Tourism Week will begin late this month in the northern mountainous province of Son La, featuring Mong ethnic folk art performances, an introduction to the patterns on the Mong people’s costumes, culinary events, and street art and parades. Other activities will include music shows spotlighting musical instruments of the Thai, Muong, Mong, and Dao ethnic minorities.
More than 40 cultural and sports events are scheduled in Da Nang city, including the Da Nang Golf Tourism Festival 2023.
“The Golf Tourism Festival will help promote the image of Da Nang, its cuisine, culture, and people. Apart from expanding tourism spaces, we have implemented programs and policies to attract more tourists and develop the city’s MICE tourism and a strategy to make Da Nang a center of high-quality tourism,” said Nguyen Xuan Binh, Deputy Director of the municipal Department of Tourism.
A Street Culture Festival will be held for the first time in Binh Thuan province this weekend as part of the National Tourism Year 2023.
“The Festival will draw more than 10 art troupes, including professional and amateur artists and will feature the cultures of different ethnic groups. Two rock concerts will be held early next month where the audience can join in,” said Vo Thanh Huy, Deputy Head of the provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism:.
