(VOVoworld) - National Assembly Chairman Nguyen Sinh Hung has called for better enforcement of prosecution rights and legislative monitoring to foster national development and defense. The chief legislator was speaking at a working session with the Supreme People’s Procuracy in Hanoi on Friday. He said that the prosecution agency should do further research to clearly define legislative, executive and judicial rights in the Constitution and relevant codes:“The Procuracy is a constitutional agency to perform the people’s rights in the monitoring of judicial activities. The prosecution right and judicial monitoring at the Supreme People’s Procuracy should be ensured and facilitated in line with the 11^th national Party Congress’ resolutions and the real situations.”
