Working with the municipal Party Committee on Sunday, Chairman Hue urged Ho Chi Minh city to step up administrative reform, create a favorable business investment environment, improve its competitiveness, and develop high quality human resources.

He underlined the need to attract talent to aid fast, sustainable development and international integration.

“It’s necessary to support and remove difficulties for businesses and implement economic recovery policies, especially the fiscal and monetary policies which have just been approved by the National Assembly. It’s also essential to complete key projects and projects that have been delayed for years and speed up the city’s planning,” said Mr. Hue.

Chairman Hue said there should be a new resolution on piloting specific mechanisms and policies for the development of Ho Chi Minh City.
