He said that the National Assembly has focused on legislative work and fine-tuned the legal system on human rights and economic issues. Responding to Ky Anh voters’ queries about the East Sea situation, the National Assembly Chairman said that Vietnam always wishes for friendship cooperation and support from the  international community but determines to defend its national sovereignty and territorial integrity. He said: "“Vietnam’s consistent policies are to be friend with all countries. The Communist Party of Vietnam wants to be friend with other communist parties and ruling parties all over the world. Vietnam pursues bilateral and unilateral diplomatic policies with countries worldwide and is an active member of the UN to maintain peace in every country and on the entire globe. It’s also the aspiration of every Vietnamese person.”
