NA Chairman pays pre-Tet visit to Yen Bai

(VOVWORLD) -As the Lunar New Year Festival is approaching, National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue on Wednesday visited and gave gifts to policy families, people with meritorious services, poor households, victims of Agent Orange and workers in Yen Bai province.

At meetings with locals in Tran Yen district and workers at the Industrial Garment Factory of Vina KNF International Limited Liability Company, the National Assembly Chairman extended greetings to people of all ethnicities in Yen Bai province and wished them a happy and successful new year.

Chairman Hue expressed his impression that locals’ lives have changed and emphasizing the goal of achieving a prosperous life for the people. 

“We hope that the administration will continue to do a good job of social security, pay attention to policy families, people with meritorious services, and people in difficult circumstances. Efforts should be made to reduce poverty, not to fall back into poverty, create the best conditions for everyone and every family to have a new Spring, celebrate the traditional Tet warmly and joyfully and in a healthy, safe and economical manner. Leave no one behind, leave no one without Tet," he said. 

On this occasion, the Vietnam Fatherland Front, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, and the Vietnam Red Cross Society donated 600 gifts. National Assembly Chairman Hue and the delegation delivered 160 gifts to needy people in four communes of Tran Yen district, Yen Bai province.
