NA Chairman says workers need to spread spirit of innovation

(VOVWORLD) - Chairman of the National Assembly Tran Thanh Man on Sunday commended 95 workers who are Party members and role models with innovative and effective production initiatives and solutions.

At a meeting in Hanoi to honor the outstanding workers, Chairman Man said that among the great achievements of recent years, there have been important contributions from trade unions and their members.
He urged the honorees to spread their spirit of innovation and creativity among other workers.
"The Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, its members, and workers need to spread positivity, faith, determination, and Party General Secretary To Lam’s message, which is also the Party leadership’s policy, on the new era of national rise," said Mr. Man.
According to the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, in the past 10 years more, than 670,000 elite trade union members have stood honorably in the ranks of the Party, accounting for 12% of the Party members.
