National Assembly Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan

During a meeting with leaders of local industrial parks and foreign investors in Phu My 3 In-Depth Industrial Zone, Ms Ngan said the Vietnamese National Assembly is finalizing draft laws to address businesses’ problems and attract more investment to Vietnam.

Ngan said: "The National Assembly Secretary General and the Committee for Science and Environment have been assigned to review regulations governing environment impact assessment to streamline investment administrative procedures."

The same day, Ms Ngan visited and presented gifts to Heroic Mothers, Heroes of Armed Forces, war veterans and invalids in Ba Ria-Vung Tau province on the occasion of Vietnam War Martyrs and Invalids Day, July 27.
