(VOVworld)- National Assembly deputies on Wednesday discussed drafts to revised Laws on Housing and the Real Estate Business and approved the revised Laws on Public Investment and Construction. Many deputies agreed that the revised Housing Law should promote the diversity of house types to meet people’s affordability. Some stressed the need to work out incentives to boost housing development and clearly stipulate land proportion for social houses in urban and rural areas. Nguyen Lam Thanh is a deputy from Lang Son province: “The development of rental houses will help reduce house dependence, regulate and increase the flexibility of the labour market and promote socio-economic development in priority regions. It will also reduce people’s spending on real estate and encourage them to invest their money in other areas  to stimulate consumption”.

Discussing the draft of the revised Real Estate Business Law, the deputies said it should aim at increasing transparency in the real estate market. On Thursday, the deputies will discuss the revised Laws on Notary, the Vietnamese People’s Army Officers and People’s Police.
