NA expects to hold extra meeting to address urgent issues

(VOVWORLD) - The National Assembly Standing Committee (NASC) wrapped up its fourth session in Hanoi on Thursday. Speaking at the closing ceremony, National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue said the committee completed the agenda after three and a half days, and reached consensus on contents for submission to the legislature’s second session scheduled to begin on October 20.

Chairman Hue urged the National Assembly Standing Committee to complete the reports, ensuring that suggestions, thoughts, feelings and aspirations of the people and voters nationwide were sent to the second session of the 15th National Assembly.

Mr. Hue said that the NA expects to convene an extra meeting to address a number of urgent issues on COVID-19 Prevention and Control and the Master Strategy on Socio-Economic Recovery and Development.
