NA Vice Chairwoman concludes Romania visit

(VOVworld) – National Assembly Vice Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan on Friday paid a courtesy visit to Chairman of Romania’s Chamber of Deputies Valerie Stefan Zgonea during her official visit there. Zgonea said Romania will try its best to develop cooperation with Vietnam and help Vietnamese products enter the European market. He added that Romania considers Vietnam a bridge to enter ASEAN and the Asia-Pacific region. He also proposed that the parliaments and governments of both countries deepen their political and economic ties as well as facilitate business cooperation.

During her visit to Romania, Vice Chairwoman Ngan called for both countries to support each other in UN agencies and international organizations. She also expressed her hope that Romanian businesses will invest more in Vietnam. While meeting with the Vietnamese community in Romania, Ngan asked the Vietnamese embassy and overseas Vietnamese to continue contributing their opinions to the revisions of the 1992 Constitution and other major national issues. She also said that the Vietnamese party and state always support overseas Vietnamese and create the best possible conditions for them to live and integrate in countries of their residence.
