(VOVworld) – National Assembly Vice Chairman Phung Quoc Hien on Thursday received a delegation from the US-ASEAN Business Council led by its President & CEO Alexander Feldman. Mr. Hien said the Vietnam’s National Assembly has always offered good conditions for foreign enterprises to invest and expand their business in Vietnam.

He suggested American enterprises, while doing business in Vietnam, should pay more attention to environmental issues, social responsibility, human resource development, and technological transfer towards sustainable development.
Mr. Hien said the Vietnamese National Assembly has reviewed the legal system in accordance with the Trans-Pacific Partnership Agreement (TPP) and will consider ratifying it soon. He expected that the US will ratify the TPP early for the political and economic interests of both countries and the whole region.
