National Assembly Chairman works with Youth Union

(VOVworld) – National Assembly Chairman Nguyen Sinh Hung held a working session with the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union in Hanoi on Wednesday. High on the agenda were the collection of opinions regarding the 1992 Constitutional revisions and the results of a campaign to build new rural areas. Hung said the Party and State hoped that the revised Constitution would be devised and contributed to by the people and reflect the wisdom of all 26 million Youth Union members. He urged the Youth Union’s Central Committee to boost the campaigns of information dissemination to get more membership-involvement in the contributions of opinions. Hung said: “I hope that you will continue to learn from experiences and so be able to improve the task of information dissemination. You should mobilize the people in helping to revise the Constitution. There should be more participants with a more thorough understanding of the Constitution and logical arguments”.


Regarding the issue of building new rural areas, the meeting discussed arising problems, particularly in 3 pilot communes in Lao Cai, Quang Binh and Bac Lieu provinces. Chairman Hung urged for more efforts to rally youths from the enterprises  and other sectors to join in.
