(VOVworld) – On Friday, National Assembly Vice Chairwoman Tong Thi Phong received the British ambassador to Vietnam, Giles Lever.

She said various activities held in past years have deepened the relations between Vietnam and Britain. Ms. Phong expressed her hope that the UK will continue to share experience in its diplomatic policies, poverty reduction and flexible mechanisms in law building.

On the same day, National Assembly Vice Chairwoman Tong Thi Phong received the Italian ambassador to Vietnam, Cecilia Piccioni. She said there has been much progress in relations between Vietnam’s National Assembly and the Italian parliament. She said she hoped Italy would share its experience with Vietnam in law building, especially in creating legal corridors for developing small and medium sized enterprises.
