National Council for Science, Technology and Innovation established
(VOVWORLD) -Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has signed a decision on establishing the National Council for Science, Technology and Innovation led by the Prime Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Tran Luu Quang is the Vice Chairman of the Council.

The interdisciplinary coordination organization will help the Prime Minister research, direct, and coordinate to resolve major issues in formulating and organizing the implementation of strategies, mechanisms and policies to develop science, technology and innovation.
In addition, the Council helps the Prime Minister direct and coordinate between ministries, ministerial-level agencies, Government agencies, and People's Committees of provinces and cities in promoting science, technology and innovation to make contributions to socio-economic development, national defense and security and international integration.
