(VOVworld)-The National Quality Award 2011 was presented to 96 outstanding businesses at a ceremony in Hanoi on Sunday. Two other businesses were honoured with the Global Performance Excellence Award. Speaking at the ceremony, Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Thien Nhan confirmed the awards’ significance in raising product and service quality competitiveness. He said this was an opportunity for businesses to promote their brands for further international economic integration. He hoped that the awards should encourage more businesses to participate in the improvement of Vietnamese products’ image in the world.
