National trade promotion program 2014 reviewed

(VOVworld) – The national trade promotion program 2014 has supported 7,600 enterprises to perform 285,000 transactions earning revenue of over 1.8 billion USD.

The Department of Trade Promotion of the Ministry of Industry and Trade revealed the statistics at a meeting on Saturday to review the program last year. Vietnamese products have been shipped to several markets including the EU, the US, the Republic of Korea, and Japan. In 2015 the program will focus on expanding export market, minimizing import surplus, and providing trade information about domestic and overseas markets. The program will also strengthen distribution networks in the rural, mountain, border, and remote areas.
