nCoV outbreak affects global value chains

(VOVWORLD) - Nissan has reportedly suspended auto production at a Kyushu plant owing to parts shortages stemming from the coronavirus outbreak.

The plant is facing shutdown because it has been unable to get auto parts shipped from China. At least four textile factories in Cambodia may suspend operations because of delays in the supply of raw materials from China caused by the coronavirus outbreak, the Labor Ministry said on Monday.

Sony is joining Amazon and others who have cancelled their attendance at the Mobile World Congress 2020 due to the outbreak. LG, Nvidia, and Ericsson have already cancelled events that were set to take place at MWC in Barcelona, the biggest mobile technology trade show on the calendar.
