(VOVWORLD) - North Korean leader Kim Jong-un supervised test firings of new cruise missiles designed to be launched from submarines, the Rodong Sinmun newspaper reported Monday.

The missiles, called "Pulhwasal-3-31", were launched on Sunday and hit predetermined targets on North Korea’s east coast. The newspaper did not provide any further details related to the launch.
