Odysseus moon lander will cease working after sideways landing
(VOVWORLD) -The Odysseus lander is about to stop operating after an "imperfect" landing on the lunar surface, according to a Thursday announcement by Intuitive Machines.

Scientists are monitoring the final signals from this mission. The uncrewed lander landed at the lunar south pole last Thursday, marking the first American spacecraft to land on the lunar surface in more than 50 years.
Previously, Intuitive Machines and the US Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) estimated that the Odysseus would operate for 7-10 days on the Moon.
