(VOVworld) – A ceremony was held in Hanoi on Tuesday to honor 50 organizations and 20 individuals for their outstanding contributions to environmental protection from 2011-2015.

The event, organized by the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, was part of activities for the 4^th National Conference on the Environment, urging citizens to join in Vietnam’s sustainable development. Deputy Prime Minister Hoang Trung Hai praised the achievements of the organizations and individuals in protecting our environment and called for more communication campaigns to engage the community in working towards a green, clean environment.
