The participants were honored with the Ly Tu Trong Award 2018 on the occasion of the 87th founding anniversary of the Youth Union (March 26). President Quang said: “Each Union member needs to constantly improve themselves to uphold their predecessors’ traditions. The Union should educate, encourage, and inspire its members to live and work in line with President Ho Chi Minh’s example.”

On Sunday, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc commended 10 outstanding young Vietnamese at an award ceremony organized by the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and the Vietnam Young Talent Support Fund in Hanoi.

“Young talents are one of the decisive factors for the success of national industrialization and modernization, international integration, and socialism building. The award recognizes your constant efforts and hard work. I hope you will continue to study and follow President Ho Chi Minh’s ideology, morality, and lifestyle to be worthy examples for Vietnamese youth,” Mr. Phuc said. 

Activities were also held in Ho Chi Minh City and Moscow to mark the 87th anniversary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union.
