(VOVworld) - Overseas Vietnamese in Australia are happy to celebrate the traditional lunar New Year. Although it is not a holiday in the host country, a majority of the Vietnamese there have arranged time for a family reunion.

In Venezuela, the Vietnamese Embassy held a New Year get-together for overseas Vietnamese who are living and working there. Ambassador Ngo tien Dung briefed them on Vietnam’s major achievements in socio-economic and diplomatic fields last year and key tasks for this year. The diplomat reiterated the two countries' leaders' determination to strengthen the bilateral comprehensive co-operation.
