The agreement, which put an end to the war against US forces and restored peace in Vietnam, laid the foundation for national reunification in 1975.  On this occasion, an art program entitled “Songs of Peace” was held in the central province of Quang Tri on Friday.

“The theme of the event is relevant. As a soldier, I’ll never forget the Paris Peace Accords. Peace is the ultimate goal of our nation,” war veteran Nguyen Huy Tao said.
