(VOVWORLD) - General Secretary To Lam chaired a meeting on Thursday on major policies to be incorporated into the draft documents of the 14th National Party Congress with Standing Committees of the Subcommittees for preparing for the 14th National Party Congress and the Steering Committee for reviewing 40 years of national renewal.

General Secretary To Lam agreed with the proposals put forward by the Standing Committees and the Steering Committee, while emphasizing the need to further refine, update, and supplement the draft reports. He stressed that the documents should be concise yet comprehensive, showcasing the determination and aspiration for breakthrough development of the Party, people, and army in the new era.
The Party leader said: "We need a deeper assessment of achievements, causes, and lessons learned over the past 40 years of national renewal, as well as during the 13th Party Congress tenure. We need to clearly highlight recent accomplishments, such as streamlining the political system and reflecting key socio-economic advancements in the final years of the 13th Party Congress tenure. We also need to analyze shortcomings, limitations, and bottlenecks across all sectors, focusing on solutions to drive national development and improve people's livelihoods."
General Secretary To Lam asked the Subcommittees to guide editorial teams in swiftly finalizing the draft documents with the highest level of quality.
