Party leader and President calls on people nationwide to donate blood
(VOVWORLD) - Party General Secretary and President Nguyen Phu Trong has called on the entire population to donate blood to save lives as Vietnam will mark 20 years of Voluntary Blood Donation Day next Tuesday.

In his letter to Vietnamese people nationwide, Mr. Trong described blood as a special medicine and praised blood donors, saying blood donation contributes to national sustainable development.
On this occasion, a communication campaign to encourage blood donation will take place from Friday until the end of this month.
