Party leader meets Hanoi voters ahead year-end NA session
(VOVWORLD) - Party leader Nguyen Phu Trong on Saturday underlined the essential role of voters in supervising and responding to the implementation of Party guidelines and State policies.

During a meeting with voters in Hanoi ahead of the year-end National Assembly session, Party General Secretary Trong praised voters’ opinions and comments, saying they are crucial for law making and enforcement.
“Meeting voters before and after a National Assembly session is imperative as this is the opportunity to collect public opinions for lawmakers’ consideration and to see whether legislation meets people’s expectations or is enforced in accordance with Party and State guidelines," Mr. Trong said. "Public opinions are very important because the people are the beneficiaries of law and policies.”
