The Vietnamese Party leader highlighted the importance of the Laotian Defense Minister's visit saying it contributed to strengthening the traditional friendship, special solidarity and comprehensive cooperation between Vietnam and Laos. Trong urged the two defense ministries to work more closely to implement the signed protocol for the 2016-2020 period and further promote the significance of bilateral ties among the two countries’ armies. He briefed his guests on the situation in Vietnam.
