Vietnamese Ambassador to Malaysia Dinh Ngoc Linh emphasized the how much the visit means to Vietnam's foreign policy. He said “General Secretary To Lam's visit to Malaysia is of special significance as it promotes solidarity among ASEAN countries and demonstrates Vietnam's unwavering foreign policy of valuing the friendly neighborliness and strategic partnership with Malaysia."

"Vietnam wishes to further deepen the existing good cooperative ties between the two countries and aims for new heights. The visit marks a new milestone that consolidates the political foundation and adds motivation to the stronger, more comprehensive and more effective relations amid the two countries being prepared to enter the 10th year of their strategic partnership.”

During the visit, the two sides will discuss measures to expand cooperation into other potential fields such as Halal, digital transformation, digital economy, green economy, and high-tech agriculture, according to Ambassador Linh.
