Peace negotiations between Russia and Ukraine continue remotely
(VOVWORLD) - Peace talks between Russia and Ukraine have not stopped and are being held remotely, Russian chief negotiator Vladimir Medinsky said on Monday, adding that Russia needs more specific proposals from Ukraine before meeting in person.

EC chief Ursula von der Leyen said the EC will respond to Ukraine's EU membership bid in June, before the issue is discussed by the EU's members.
She said on Twitter that she had a conversation with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and was waiting to receive an answer on Ukraine joining the EU. In April, von der Leyen came to Kyiv to show solidarity with Ukraine and agreed to consider Ukraine's desire to join the EU.
