People contribute opinions on draft 1992 constitutional amendments

(VOVworld)-The public consultation on draft amendments to the 1992 constitution has been warmly responded. A National Assembly deputy from the northern province of Son La, Dinh Cong Sy, voices his ideas: “I have contributed opinions to issues relating to human rights and civic obligations in the constitution. Next is the building of local government structure to improve its performance. I am interested in the formation of the constitutional council, the national election committee and the state audit. I support the equal footing status of all economic sectors while the state sector no longer taking the lead.”

Deputy Rector of Dac Lac Political School, Do Van Duong comments on the establishment of the constitutional council:“The building of socialist state of law must ensure the performance of civic rights and obligations as well as constitutional protection. It’s necessary to set up a council in charge of constitutional protection as early as possible.”

Public comments on the draft amendments will continue until March 31.
