Dr. Nguyen Quoc Dung from the Politics and Administration Academy in the Mekong River Delta, said: “There are some points I’m interested in the documents of the 12th National Party Congress. The Congress not only assesses the implementation of the Party resolution over the past 5 years but also reviews 30 years of renewal process.
The Congress’s theme clearly defines tasks and action plans for the nation. The Congress focuses on renovating the model of economic growth which is a great concern of the nation. The Party will find out ways to raise the total factor productivity in the percentage of the GDP”.

Regarding the Party’s plans for national development in the integration period, Nguyen Thi Bich Thuy, Vice Chairwoman of Ho Chi Minh City Labor Confederation, said: “We hope that the Party will continue to build Vietnam’s working class to promote national industrialization and modernization. Vietnamese working class need to be well trained in various fields, have firm political stance and know how to apply science and technology in production. Besides, trade union organizations also need to improve their operation to meet the demand of the new situation, especially as Vietnam takes part in the Trans-Pacific Partnership agreement”.

Mr. A Bang from Kon Tum province said: “I trust in the Party’s leadership and believe that Party’s comprehensive reform will ensure economic development, national defence, polictics and diplomacy. I hope that with the Party’s leadership, corruption will be wiped off and more favorable conditions will be created for the people to escape poverty in the remote areas”.
