(VOVworld) – The Ministry of Information and Communications will continue to improve state management in press, publication, post and telecommunication, and information technology to ensure information safety. It will also complete a project on the Planning of Press Development and Management until 2025 which will be submitted to the Party Politburo. Deputy Minister Truong Minh Tuan said: “This project emphasizes that effective development should go along with good management. It also touches on restructuring press agencies for stronger growth and people’s greater access to full, accurate information. Vietnam’s press is revolutionary press and must be a forum of the people and introduce Party and state policies to the people. The press must be non-biased, honest and quick.”

Deputy Minister Tuan also stressed the importance of developing multimedia press agencies to provide the public with fast, accurate, and reliable information.
