Personnel work prepared on principles of democracy, solidarity, consensus
(VOVWORLD) - The 13th National Party Congress continued to discuss the personnel work on Saturday. Speaking to reporters, Deputy Head of the Party Central Committee’s Organization Commission Nguyen Thanh Binh said based on personnel preparation made at the 13th, 14th, and 15th plenum, the 12 Party Central Committee agreed on the personnel nomination list to submit to the 13th National Party Congress

'Personnel preparation for the 13th National Party Congress is made on the principle of democracy, consensus, and solidarity and based a scientific, professional, objective, comprehensive and effective method. The preparation was made carefully, strictly following the Party rules and focusing on quality and efficiency to make sure that ethical, competent, and prestigious people will be elected.
Binh said that the 12th Party Central Committee agreed to select some delegates of special cases to submit to the 13th Party Congress and the 13th Party Central Committee to elect to the Party Politburo and the Party Secretariat.
Concerning delegates’ responsibility for their votes, Bui Huyen Mai, Head of the Department of Communications and Education of the Hanoi Municipal Party Committee said, 'Each delegate bears heavy responsibility because they represent more than 5 million Party members nationwide and hold their trust. The delegates need to take thorough consideration to elect the most deserved delegates to the 13th Party Central Committee.'
Earlier, the Congress discussed and voted the number of the 13th Party Central Committee of 200 members including 180 official members and 20 alternates.
