Photo, video contest launched to cherish meaningful, happy moments

(VOVWORLD) - The Ministry of Information and Communications has launched the second “Happy Vietnam” photo and video contest, cherishing meaningful moments and stories of all aspects of political, economic, cultural, and social life.

Speaking at the launching ceremony, Deputy Minister of Information and Communications Nguyen Thanh Lam affirmed that Vietnam is one of 193 UN member countries to make a commitment to strengthen efforts to build a world of justice, sustainable development, and happiness for all of humanity.

The photo and video contest aims to showcase Vietnam’s achievements in its socio-economic development, international integration, and human rights.

Individuals of Vietnamese origin residing abroad as well as foreigners from around the globe will be able to submit photos and videos online at https://happy.vietnam.vn from March 20 to August 20.

About 100 - 150 finalists will be selected by the Organizing Committee for exhibition at home and abroad.

The contest was initiated in 2023 and has been well-received.
